SUMMARY: Under Armour is looking for a Sports Marketing Coordinator based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The position reports directly to the Sports Marketing Lead for Europe. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and communication skills, be detail oriented and will have experience in budget management and brand planning.

The position has a multi-dimensional role, encompassing element within Brand and Sports Marketing to insure seamless execution of our Brand activation plans, seeding programs, photo shootings, assets activations, reporting of key initiatives and ROI tracking.

This individual will be directly responsible for providing Sports Marketing inputs (asset calendar, key dates, availabilities, requirements) to various Marketing functions. The candidate will directly be involved in implementing the seeding program for Sports Marketing and Brand Marketing key initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead the Implementation of our SPM and Brand seeding program. Overseeing product needs, ordering process and deadlines (forecasting, budget management, product tracking, status updates and communication).
  • Provide in a timely manner SPM assets calendar and key information to stakeholders and Marketing functions to support brand activation.
  • Budget Reporting: review monthly budget planning across assets and markets (seeding and GOK).
  • Provide monthly overview of SPM bonuses to our FP&A partners.
  • Input Regional and Global FP&A and Legal team with asset contractual updates.
  • Support the implementation of cohesive quarterly SPM product plans (scripting).
  • POC for all SPM Operations matters, including addressing new partnership request (first filter).
  • Partner with Account Payable team and FP&A to insure all asset contractual payments are forecasted and paid accordingly to contract terms. 
  • Support together with Sports Marketing Managers, the Category leads and Creative team, the execution of our seasonal photoshoot plan.

Technical Attributes of Ideal Candidate: include but are not limited to the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience, proven track record in brand and sports marketing experience within Europe across sports and/or lifestyle brand(s). (or equivalent combination of education and relation experience).
  • Prior knowledge of apparel, footwear and accessories is a plus.
  • Fluency of English, both conversational and written is an essential function.
  • Gathers and analyses information skill-fully
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience working for either a start-up or high-growth organization is a plus.
  • Prior experience working for an international brand with a strong, premium and distinct culture.
